Intrinsic and Extrinsic Motivation in My Point of View

I disliked math in high school. Nonetheless, I studied it well. I was compelled to pursue mathematics for a variety of reasons. At first, all I cared about was passing the test. I was compelled to study it in order to avoid the make-up test. My classmates regarded students who fabricated tests as fools. Second, I needed to learn arithmetic in order to earn the affection of my really cranky math teacher. She frequently becomes enraged and punishes her students when they do not appropriately answer. She does, however, treat intelligent students admirably. Because I enjoy being treated nicely, I was required to study arithmetic.

I enjoy reading, viewing movies, and listening to English-language songs. From the bottom of my heart, I recognize that as a non-native English speaker, I must frequently study and practice the language in order to keep my English abilities strong (reading, writing, speaking, listening). I'm constantly looking for effective ways to study independently, such as watching videos on YouTube, visiting relevant websites, and practicing English with native English speakers online. I know a few through language exchange websites on the internet.

Intrinsic motivation is motivation that comes from within me and is motivated by love. In other words, it can be described as a pastime. Additionally, it may provide me with benefits. By acquiring proficiency in English, I can pursue careers as a translator, a content writer, or an English teacher. Extrinsic motivation, on the other hand, is a motivation that results from an external stimulus. I do it for personal reasons. (avoidance of a make-up test and subsequent penalties).

On the basis of the foregoing, it may be argued that I am intrinsically motivated. I am quite content when I am doing what I enjoy. Learning English means a great deal to me. I feel content when I am able to comprehend what I read or listen to. I am overjoyed when I am able to communicate meaningfully in English. I feel so secure when I am able to converse clearly and meaningfully with my native English speaker pals. Nobody is forcing me to learn English. I recognize my own need for English and study it with enthusiasm. Thus, intrinsic motivation outperforms extrinsic motivation.
